How the $79 dispatch fee works
The $79 dispatch fee covers sending a licensed plumber to your home to find the problem and write up an estimate. If you approve the recommended work, the $79 is applied toward the repair total. The fee is not an extra charge stacked on top of a repair you approve. Ask us when you call how it works if you decide not to go ahead.
How an estimate works
The process is simple. You call, we quote on site, we do the work and show you, you pay, and we ask for a review. The quote comes before the work. We look at the problem, tell you what we found, and give you a price for the repair we recommend. Where there is more than one way to fix it, we explain the options. Nothing starts until you say yes. Our prices are flat rate service fees, and what is on the estimate is what you approve.
Emergency work and scheduled work
We are open 24 hours, 7 days a week, and we offer same-day or next-day service. A burst pipe, a gas smell, a sewer backup, or a water heater leaking into a closet is an emergency. See our 24/7 emergency plumbing page for what to do first. A dripping faucet, a slow drain, or an aging water heater you plan to replace can be scheduled. Across the plumbing industry, after-hours calls often carry a higher rate, and emergencies tend to cost more because they involve water damage and urgent parts. Whatever the hour, you see our price before we begin. Scheduling a repair you can plan for also gives you time to compare options, and it avoids the cost of damage from a small leak that was left to grow.
What makes two jobs with the same name cost different amounts
- Age of the home. Older plumbing may need extra parts, new shutoff valves, or code updates.
- Access. A fixture in an open garage is faster than one inside a finished wall or under a slab.
- Parts and brands. We install State and Rheem water heaters, Navien tankless units, and KOHLER, Moen, Delta, and American Standard fixtures. Choice of fixture can change the price.
- Permits. Water heaters, gas piping, and sewer work may need a permit in your city.
- Scope found on site. A visit sometimes shows that the real problem is bigger or smaller than it looked on the phone.
Key services
Most calls start with one of a few services: water heater repair and installation, drain cleaning, gas line repair, or leak detection. You can browse everything on our services page.
Getting the most from an estimate
A few habits make any plumbing quote easier to compare. Ask what is included: parts, permits, cleanup, and haul-away. Ask what happens if the job turns out larger than it looks. Ask what the warranty covers and who supplies the parts. Take a photo of the problem and note when it started, since that history helps us find the cause faster. Know where your main water shutoff is, because shutting it off quickly is the fastest way to limit damage and the cost that follows.
Warranty
We provide a 5-year warranty on parts and labor when we supply the parts. A repair without a warranty is a bigger risk, so ask any plumber what theirs covers.
