Called Vortex when I was stuck in the middle of replacing the cartridge in my shower to stop a leak. I could not get the cartridge out so I called Vortex. Dillon the owner came out and finished the job. He has 12 years experience and knew exactly how to finish the job. He is very personable and respectful. I would not hesitate to call him again or recommend him to my best friends. He is a quality person and company. He gets 5 stars for service, knowledge and being personable.
Great visit with Vor-Tex that came highly recommended by a close friend. Dillon was responsive, came on time, listened to my concerns and communicated ahead of time what actions he will take and the cost. He then showed me the outcome and gave recommendations on possible next steps. I could not be more pleased with my experience with Vor-Tex and recommend for your plumbing needs!
Amazing company! Will recommend to everyone.
Dillon showed amazing attention to detail and even went the extra mile fixing an issue of mine! Fast service, and even better customer service!
I cannot say enough good things about Dillon with Vortex Plumbing. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. He diagnosed the issue quickly, but what really stood out was the amount of time he took to explain everything to me in detail. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had a service professional do such a great job of making sure I fully understood not only what the problem was, but why it was happening, what my options were, and what I could do moving forward to help prevent it from happening again. There was absolutely no pressure. Dillon walked me through multiple options, explained the pros and cons of each, answered every question I had, and made sure I felt completely comfortable before moving forward. You can tell he genuinely cares about doing the job correctly and making sure the customer is educated rather than simply trying to make a sale. That level of service, honesty, communication, and attention to detail is incredibly rare these days. I went from being frustrated about having a plumbing issue to feeling completely confident that I understood the situation and knew exactly what my next steps were. If you need a plumber, I would recommend Dillon and Vortex Plumbing without hesitation. This is exactly what great customer service should look like. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough!
Highly recommend VOR-TEX Plumbing! Dillon had his work cut out when he came to my home. From toilet repair, outside spigot replacement, under the sink plumbing and much more, he got everything done efficiently and replaced everything I needed with quality parts. His quality of work is great and his prices are reasonable. It’s great to have a local plumber like him around!
Best plumber I've ever hired and I've own properties all over Texas for 25 years. Excellent service!!! Thank you Dillon!!!
It was a pleasure working with Dillon. He is very professional and knows exactly what he’s doing. Our whole-house stoppage was found and repaired quickly after I called. Thank you Dillon for your excellent work! I highly recommend Vortex Plumbing.
Dillon did an amazing job. He is focussed on what needs to be done and is a true professional.
Dillon and his team are AMAZING! They come quick, have a plan, and knock it out with exceptional work. Oh.. and don't even get me started on their warranty! A plumbing company that actually stands behind their work is rare to find these days. They won't disappear as soon as the van drives away. If you are having ANY plumbing issues or concerns - you need to call Vor-Tex Plumbing!
I highly recommend this plumber! He came out to check what I thought was a water leak and, instead of immediately suggesting an expensive repair, he took the time to look into the situation and recommended that I contact Mustang to have my water meter checked. I’m so grateful he made that suggestion because it turned out that I didn’t actually have a water leak. The problem was a bad meter that needed to be replaced. His honesty and willingness to help saved me from paying for a plumbing job that wasn’t even necessary. I truly appreciate his professionalism, honesty, and genuine concern for helping me find the actual problem. Thank you so much for your help! I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy plumber.
Service was quick, professional and they even were able to come early.
Very professional and detailed. He explained the issue and resolved in a timely and professional manner. Highly recommend
Super Fast, Friendly, Clean and Confident. The business owner, Dillon, answered my very frantic call at almost 10pm. Listened intently to the problem and assured me he would arrive within 30mins. He was here quickly, assessed the issue, had it fixed and my water back on in less than 1hr. Cleaned up after the repair and it's like he was never here. Cannot say enough positive things about my interaction. In the panic of our plumbing emergency, I could not have asked for a more personable and professional service provider. Thanks a million Vor-Tex Plumbing! If I find myself in need again, this will be my first call.
What an amazing job by Dillon. Quick to respond, very knowledgeable, and great customer service. He will be my go to guy.

I couldn’t be happier with Vortex Plumbing. They were responsive and took the time to answer all of my questions. Their customer service was outstanding and made the entire process easy. Dillon explained everything, completed the work efficiently, and was an expert professional. Pricing was very fair, beat out anyone else that I reached out to for the same work. Dillon got back to me very quickly, then out to the house and had my toilet up and running. Thank you!! Plus, he answered all of my annoying questions!
I had a genuinely great experience with Dillon and VOR-TEX Plumbing Co. From the beginning, Dillon was easy to talk to, straightforward, and took the time to clearly explain what was going on. He never made the process feel rushed or confusing, and I felt comfortable asking questions throughout the entire service. You can tell that Dillon is hardworking, takes real pride in what he does, and genuinely cares about the people he serves. He approaches his work like he is building a long-term relationship with each customer, rather than simply completing a job and moving on. That mindset really came through in the way he communicated and handled the entire experience. The plumbing work was completed professionally, and I appreciated how transparent, dependable, and personable he was from beginning to end. It is rare to find someone who combines quality workmanship with this level of character and customer care. I would confidently recommend Dillon and VOR-TEX Plumbing Co. to anyone looking for a reliable plumber and someone they can feel comfortable calling again in the future.

I reached out to Dillon one day about a few questions I had regarding our sink and one of our bath tubs. I wasn't even sure if I would need services, and yet he showed up the very next day so very willing to check things out and explain them to me. For both of my questions, he knew exactly what needed to be done, what would be needed to fix, and for one that didn't end up needing plumbing services he was able to give me a referral! He was so polite and kind whenever we spoke. When he did the repair, he also explained clearly what was going to be done. Took pictures before and after to show me. Dillon did a great job helping us with a toilet issue that turned out to be much simpler than expected. Communication was solid from start to finish, he was very professional, responsive, and showed up earlier than scheduled. He took the time to diagnose the problem properly, which was a toothbrush my kid flushed down the toilet, resolved it quickly, and was honest about what was actually wrong instead of pushing unnecessary work or replacement. Really appreciated the transparency and professionalism. Would definitely use the company again and recommend them to others.
The owner was very nice and kept me well-informed about everything they did and planned to do. I truly recommend!!

It’s hard to find companies that truly care about their customers, and Dillon definitely went above and beyond. Excellent service and communication — I will absolutely continue referring people to Vor-Tex Plumbing Co.!
There are really only 2 questions that need to be answered when reviewing a business. 1. Will you use them again? and 2. Will you recommend them to someone else? For Vor-Tex Plumbing, the answer is Yes. I had a dripping bath tub spout caused by the defective part I purchased and installed. He told me straightforward what the issue was and fixed it quickly. He was friendly, professional, and honest. I would recommend him to anyone and use him again.
Dillon was so helpful and knowledgeable!
Dillon and his Team were fantastic to work with! I had a massive issue caused by another plumber, and Dillon rearranged his schedule to accommodate the emergency. He was highly communicative, professional, polite, and on time. He was also extremely thorough explaining during the process- it was not a small repair unfortunately but he completed it very swiftly considering! After completion they completely cleaned and didn’t leave until I saw/ approved the finished project! I highly recommend Dillon with Vor-tex Plumbing! GREAT JOB and THANK YOU for saving the day!!
Excellent customer service experience! Dillon was fast to respond and even though he was delayed by another job, kept me up to date on his arrival window. He solved the issue with our hose bib incredibly quickly and even gave a masterclass tutorial in how to fix it myself if it seizes up again in the future. A++++ and 10 stars, will be using Vor-Tex again for our other plumbing needs.
Great job, fixed in couple of minutes and so helpful God bless you Dillon
Dillan is very thorough and takes his time to diagnose the issue. He referred me to other contractors for other non-plumbing work that spoke to me that day and helped with making decisions on my issue. I will definitely use VOR-TEX for all future plumbing needs.
Dillon was super flexible for an emergency situation and willing to rearrange his schedule to accommodate our schedule. He responded immediately and was very professional. I highly recommend Vor-Tex Plumbing.

Dillon did a great job with helping me with replacing and fixing my shower drain. He is really friendly and patient with the issue I was having. I highly reccomend him for any plumbing issues and projects!
Due to my husband being temporary disabled, I needed some assistance with making sure that my irrigation system was ready for the deep freeze that hit our area. I sent a message in the morning and Dillon met me at my house later that day. He was very thorough with explaining everything in detail to me and was so patient with all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend them!
We just moved in to our home and was having toilet troubles and Dillon came through and found the problem, fixed it, installed a new toilet within a day. Truly grateful that Vortex Plumbing was able to assist. Fast, reliable, and sincere! Definitely will be using again!!
I admired the calm and systematic approach taken throughout the entire process. Everything felt carefully aligned, making the experience smooth and reassuring. The final outcome was polished and left a very positive impression.
Dillon and the Vortex Team is great. I did not expect him to come by so quickly for a visit on the same day. He spent less than an hour identifying the issue and advised me exactly what I needed. The Vortex team came in, excavated, and repaired the main pipe all in 1 day. I was impressed by the work of his team. Fast, reliable, and professional!! You may know him as Dillon, I call him THE HONEST PLUMBER! Thanks Vortex!
VORTEX PLUMBING IS HEAVEN SENT!! Here’s my story… I had a plumbing issue and experienced a backup. Both my restrooms were out of commission and required immediate attention as I had a pregnant wife at home. My home warranty sent a big name plumbing company over. They spent hours with the plumbing and could not unclog or fix the problem. They actually left me with a non-working restroom. I have a pregnant wife at home! We need an operating restroom! After a moment of frustration, a church friend referred me over to Dillion at Vortex Plumbing. I did not expect him to come by so quickly for a visit on the same day. He spent less than an hour identifying the issue. He advised me of some separation in the main pipe joints caused by tree roots at the front of my house. Though this repair was not cheap, it was a repair that was necessary. Dillon unclogged my plumbing for the moment so we may use the restrooms and came back later to address the major work. The Vortex team came in, excavated, and repaired the main pipe all in 1 day. I was impressed by the work of his team. Fast, reliable, and professional!! In conclusion, I could not trust another contractor, but Vortex Plumbing gave me the trust I needed. You may call him Dillon, I call him THE HONEST PLUMBER! Thanks Vortex!
Tremendous service! Thanks again! Will definitely be calling if anything comes up again
Dillon is very trustworthy! I would highly recommend!
Vor-Tex Plumbing is the best! Dylan assisted me with minor leak underneath my kitchen sink which took less than 15 minutes. If you’re looking for a great and reputable plumbing company (one that will not take you to the cleaners), look no further than Vor-Tex. They get it done right the first time. I highly recommend them and will be doing future business with them if needed. 🫡
Amazing service and response time! Highly highly recommend!
VOR-TEX plumbing co. is the only company I will ever use. They are the best in every category - timeliness, care, value, cost, quality and friendliness. Dillon recently came out to install this Japanese smart toilet for me. Not only was he fast and friendly, he did the job for less than I was quoted by multiple other companies by a long shot. I watched him work too - he is a master plumber and it shows. He had all the parts he needed with him, he worked fast and ensured there were no leaks and the toilet was functioning properly. I always recommend VOR-TEX to my friends and family confidently because they don’t charge you an arm and a leg or nickel and dime you to death and they know their stuff. I highly recommend you call VOR-TEX today if you need a plumber!
I asked for recommendations in my community group and 3 people recommended Vor-Tex. He came out right away. Very kind and professional. Took pictures and made sure we understood what the issue was. Gave us several options and was even willing to look at a separate issue. Quick and efficient. Would recommend and will definitely use again (hopefully not anytime soon, lol).
Great service from great people ! If you’re having any plumbing problems these folks can solve them
Due to my husband being temporary disabled, I needed some assistance with making sure that my irrigation system was ready for the deep freeze that hit our area. I sent a message in the morning and Dillon met me at my house later that day. He was very thorough with explaining everything in detail to me and was so patient with all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend them!

As a local contractor serving homeowners in the DFW area, I recently received Dylan’s contact with VOR-TEX Plumbing CO. information from a good friend of mine, Mr. Rogers. I had a customer with a plumbing issue that needed attention, and Dylan answered the call right away. He was able to make it out to the job site within the hour and handled the situation very professionally. I highly recommend Dylan for future plumbing projects. Keep up the great work!
10/10 recommend Dillon with VOR-TEX Plumbing Co.! He was able to come out super quickly and got us all fixed up the same day. I highly recommend you call them for any of your plumbing needs! We had a clogged main drain and also needed a wax ring replaced and he got the job done fast and reliably. No need to search for another plumber again!
Dillon came out nice and professional and got the job done. Also took me along to show me the problem and how he got it all worked out. My biggest pet peeve is to be nice meat and clean and Dillon left it just like that. Will continue using him!
I'll only call Vor-Tex for any plumbing needs in the future. Dillon was able to help me out on super short notice, and on a weekend! Total life saver.
Dillon just saved me from a massive problem on a weekend, on short notice! I will only call VOR-TEX, and I'll make sure everyone else I know does as well. Thank you!
Dillon from VOR-TEX came out to check our home's water pressure, which had been incredibly low. He quickly located the Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV), but it was buried in the dirt and severely corroded. Because the adjustment screw and lock nut were in such bad shape, trying to force it would have caused even bigger problems. Dillon recommended a smart, long-term solution: raising the water line and PRV valve out of the dirt and protecting it with a much larger valve box. He completed the installation perfectly, adding crushed rock underneath to ensure it stays clean and dry. Best of all, the new PRV increased our water pressure by over 50% (jumping from 45–50 psi up to a perfect 80 psi)! I’ve attached photos showing the initial corroded valve, the dug-up water line, and the final, immaculate setup. I highly recommend VOR-TEX for any plumbing needs!
Dillion is such a pleasant, kind-hearted person who goes above and beyond! Highly recommend him for any plumbing/water issues!
Vortex plumbing came out for me today and I have been nothing but pleased. Very efficient and affordable. I will make to call them back next time when I have an issue.
Dillon with Vortex Plumbing came out to my home and was extremely thorough, thoughtful, and helpful from start to finish. And get this — he’s actually the owner of the company. That alone says a lot about the kind of business he runs. He got right to work, properly diagnosed the issue, and clearly explained what was going on. He presented multiple options to address the plumbing problem and helped me choose what made the most sense. No pressure, just honest guidance. The repair was completed at a very fair and appropriate price, and everything was handled professionally. It’s rare to find this level of service, especially from the owner himself. Highly recommend Vortex Plumbing if you’re looking for quality work and integrity.
Dillon with Vortex plumbing is awesome, he came the same morning to help one of my clients. Did a great job and fast fix. Whenever I need plumbing work I’m calling Vortex again! For all my clients as well.
Dillon Ashton provides great work with decent pricing. Recommend vortex and team for plumbing work!
We hired Dillon, owner of Vor-Tex Plumbing, for a massive overhaul of our plumbing fixtures, and I cannot recommend him enough. In just one weekend, he efficiently handled a huge list of projects: installing a dishwasher, a commercial grade water filter and spigot, two faucets with pop-up drains, and five toilets with new valves. He also replaced three bathtub drains and four supply line valves. Dillon is professional, highly skilled, and incredibly hardworking. It’s rare to find someone who can tackle that much volume with such attention to detail-and at a fair priceIf you’re looking for a reliable, fair, and talented plumber to get the job done right, call Vor-Tex Plumbing.
We had a great experience. Dillon was very professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He identified the problem a few other plumbers could not. I would recommend VorTex plumbing to anyone. We will definitely use them again in the future.
We had a lot of work that needed to be done. We’re remodeling a bathroom, and we needed the faucets changed out on the vanity, bathtub, and shower. On top of that, my house is 25 years old, so I decided to replace all of my 25 year old valves under every sink I have to hopefully avoid future leaks. I love a family owned business (grew up working one myself), and that’s where I choose to spend my money. I found VOR-TEX recommended on a friend’s FB page and decided to give them a call. They were professional, knowledgeable, showed up on time, charged reasonable rates, and did excellent work. I can’t recommend them enough.
I called VOR-TEX hoping they would answer my plumbing question even though I wasn’t a potential customer. Dillion answered and was friendly, informative, and patient. The customer service at VOR-TEX must be top-notch.
I had a great experience with VOR-TEX Plumbing Co. after a freeze caused damage to the exterior hose bib / outdoor spigot at my rental property. They were quick to respond, professional, and clearly experienced with freeze-related plumbing repairs. The technician showed up on time, diagnosed the issue fast, and replaced the exterior spigot efficiently with quality materials. Everything was done cleanly and correctly, and the repair has held up perfectly. Pricing was fair and transparent, which I really appreciate as a property owner. If you’re looking for a reliable Lewisville plumber, especially for freeze damage, burst pipes, hose bib replacement, or exterior plumbing repairs, I highly recommend VOR-TEX Plumbing Co. They’re knowledgeable, honest, and easy to work with. I’ll definitely be using them again for any future plumbing needs.

Incredible service. Dillon actually cares about the customer experience and the plumbing trade. If you need plumbing work done by a reputable master plumber. Dillon should be your next call!
I recently had the opportunity to consult with Dillion, who proved to be an exceptionally trustworthy and knowledgeable professional. He provided invaluable advice regarding my plumbing needs in my older home located in Krugenville, TX. When I encountered a significant issue with water backing up into my residence from the main line, Dillion promptly assisted me in resolving this matter, thereby preventing potential damage to the property. Additionally, he guided me through the installation of my first wax ring at the bottom of the toilet, instilling in me a sense of confidence, safety, and satisfaction in the correctness of the job completed. I wholeheartedly recommend Dillion to anyone in the Dallas-Fort Worth area; he represents an outstanding company and service provider.
Dillon did an excellent job helping my client through a tight situation involving a leaking dishwasher. He was able to respond the same day and quickly resolve the issue. I’m especially grateful for his thoroughness by performing a static test, he was able to confirm that it was not a slab leak, which ultimately saved my client a significant amount of money. Highly recommend Dillon for his responsiveness, expertise, and professionalism.
Dillon was exceptional. Reasonably priced, on time and was very thorough in assessing and solving my problem. Will definitely have him back out again!
Dillon and the services he provided were excellent! We called on a Monday and had a brand new water heater installed on Tuesday. Highly recommend Dillon for his knowledge and talent and reasonable rates.
