Water Heater Services

Hot water repairs and replacements for Aubrey and Denton County homes

A water heater is one of the few appliances in your house that you notice only when it stops. Vor-Tex Plumbing Co. repairs, replaces, and maintains tank and tankless water heaters for homes in Aubrey and the towns around it. We work on State and Rheem tank units and Navien tankless units.

Pick the service that matches your situation below. If you are not sure whether you need a repair or a new unit, call and describe what you are seeing. We will tell you what we think is going on and what the visit will involve.

Water Heater Repair & Installation

No hot water, a leak at the base, or a tank that has reached the end of its life. We repair what can be repaired and replace what cannot, and we explain which one fits.

Tankless Water Heater Repair & Installation

On-demand units from Navien and others, installed with the venting, gas, and electrical work they need, or repaired when one stops heating.

Preventative Water Heater Maintenance

Flushing and checking your heater on a schedule so small issues are caught before they turn into a cold shower or a flooded utility room.

Planning a replacement and want a number first? The water heater cost guide and the tankless cost guide lay out typical estimates.

When to call

• Water on the floor around the tank. Shut off the cold supply to the heater and call right away.
• No hot water, or hot water that fades quickly.
• Rust-colored hot water, popping or rumbling from the tank, or a heater that has been running for many years.

We are open 24 hours, seven days a week at (469) 552-2881, and we offer same-day or next-day service for most repairs. Water heater swaps in some towns need a permit, and we handle that paperwork when your city requires it. See also our full list of plumbing services.
