Gas piping repaired and installed by a licensed plumber
Gas work leaves no room for guessing. Vor-Tex Plumbing Co. repairs and installs gas lines for homes in Aubrey and Denton County, and every job is done under Texas plumbing license M-46210. We explain what we found, give you an up-front estimate, and show you the finished work.
Whether you are fixing a problem or adding a new connection, start with the page that fits.
Gas Line Repair
Leaking joints, damaged or corroded pipe, and appliance connections that are no longer sound. We locate the problem and repair it. Typical estimates are in the gas line cost guide.
Gas Line Installation
New lines for a grill, range, dryer, fire feature, or generator, planned around where the appliance will sit and what your supply can handle.
Starting cost: a $79 dispatch fee sends a licensed plumber to your home. When you approve the recommended work, the $79 is applied toward your repair total. You get an up-front estimate before any work begins. Texas license M-46210.
If you smell gas: do not turn lights or appliances on or off, and do not use your phone inside. Leave the home right away, then call your gas utility or 911 from outside. Call us after the area has been made safe so we can repair the line.
What to expect on a gas job
We start by finding out what you have: which appliances run on gas, where the line enters the home, and whether the supply is natural gas or propane. For a repair, we locate the leak or the failed section and explain what it will take to fix. For an installation, we look at the route from the supply to the appliance and tell you what the job involves before you approve it. Gas work is never rushed to fit a schedule.
When to call us
- A pilot light that keeps going out, or a gas appliance that behaves differently than it used to.
- A hissing sound near a gas line or appliance, or dead grass over a buried line in your yard.
- You are adding a gas appliance and need a new line run to it.
We are open 24 hours at (469) 552-2881, with same-day or next-day service for most repairs. Not every home in Denton County has natural gas service, since some use propane or all-electric appliances, so tell us what your home runs on when you call.
